Cities and towns each compromise a micro-economy with interdependencies for determining quality of life. People in cities and towns seek a high profile life, including the benefits of convenience. The backbone of convenience and quality of life is the availability of goods delivered predominantly

through commercial freight carriers.

This important event is jointly sponsored by the Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association, Institute of Transportation Engineers, Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission and its freight advisory committee, and other important stakeholders.

The half-day symposium (9AM-3PM) will bring together carriers, receivers, planners, and others to learn about national best practices in urban freight truck deliveries and to assess options and strategies for improving “last-mile/first-mile” deliveries in the nine-county, Delaware Valley region.

The event is free, but an RSVP is mandatory.
